El Dorado Casitas New Years 2023
The good - Location itself is lovely cut out of the jungle. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Frontline staff courteous and attentive. The bad - Food quality and options not up to par for level of hotel. Staff had to move our room three times due to toilets and showers not functioning. Concierges and hotel managers actions as things went wrong were very disappointing and took the joy out of the trip.

The experience at the kasitas was fantastic! The only thing I have to say is try to get transportation set ahead of time from airport to the resort. Good luck with that not much help when you ask for it. The food, entertainment, cleanliness, service was superb! We’ll be back. Kammel’s Montgomery Tx

The food was disappointing at each restaurant in terms of quality and quantity; certainly not gourmet. The property was so large, that you needed golf carts to get around, yet finding a golf cart to catch rides in was very difficult! Their resort App was next to useless as you couldn't order or book anything with it. Drinks did not come to you from a waiter, you had to go to the bar. We needed security one night and it took 25 minutes for thier response. There is no beach to speak of. Racoons and cats are not "cute" to have around your room, and housekeeping leaving trays outside our door for hours did not help. Restaurants did not open on time. Our swim up room was not enjoyable due to floating debris. Staff was friendly which was the only nice thing we can say about our experience.
