Silver Creek Lodge

we didn't get the room we booked. We booked a deluxe king and they "upgraded" us, but I wouldnt consider it an upgrade. The room had a full kitchen and a murphy double bed. The worst sleep Ive had in a long time , I may as well slept on the tile floor , it might have been more comfortable. There was hair all over the pillows too. Not worth the 200 dollars.

Check in was slow. Elevator was broken. Menu item we chose was sold out. False fire alarm at 10:30pm at night getting us out of bed to stand in -28. Couldn’t control the temperature in our room. Spent over $500 in the spa and they couldn’t give us a late check out (hour or two until we finished our services). It was just okay.

Stayed on top floor, away from the hwy and was quiet, clean and had a lot of amenities. Kitchen was well stocked, large condo with 2beds/baths and plenty of fireplaces. Heated underground parking was amazing as it was - 39 & the on-site restaurant and spa is convenient.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom, kitchen suite. The service this stay was wonderful, pleasant and down to earth. I believe it was Alexa. The hotel was beautiful as usual, with a fully equipped kitchen,everything you need and more. Great space and beautiful mountain views. The only down fall is the general house keeping. Iv stayed here over a dozen of times and there have been a few times that the cleansiness was a disappointment. Beds and towels are always clean and comfortable.Although kitchen counters ,floor ,cupboards and tv remotes are often forgotten. Our room was beautiful, although i did have to wash down cupboard doors ,including island ,stove top and coffee table because of sticky residue and food crumbs. But i think that can be easily fixed by staff communication and proper room inspections after rooms are cleaned( housekeeping management). Otherwise this place is top notch and perfect for our family getaways. Definitely recommend.

I usually stay here whenever I'm in Canmore and need a minibreak. The view is outstanding no matter which room you have, unlike many other properties. I also like the full kitchen and how well equipped the units are, along with heated underground parking. However, the suite was really hot and stayed at 25 C with the thermostat turned off, and didn't cool much even with the windows open.

Great view, customer service is great, great place to say... beds are just uncomfortable... perhaps could use a pillow top. Bathtub was awesome!

Good for families, liked having the kitchen especially during covid

The hotel is great. We had a condo. Two bedroom, two bath. A kitchen and living room. We enjoyed the entire place as we are in lockdown and couldn’t go out to eat after we were done hiking in the area. Had it been warmer we could have used the lovely patio. It had dishes and all the necessities to stay a few days. Only downside the pillows were very uncomfortable.

Good location, great front desk staff, excellent restaurant. Unit we stayed in was run down, a little dingy and needs good cleaning

Everything was great just the beds are really uncomfortable but other than that a great place to stay.
