    Amazing location, friendly attentive staff, and excellent compliance with COVID regulations. Can’t wait to return when everything is closer to “normal”. Would have rated it even higher if not for the restaurants on site. We travelled with our pet and as is customary with pet friendly accommodation, we can’t leave her in our room alone. Was very surprised and disappointed to learn that the restaurants on site didn’t offer room service or take out options so that we could dine in our room. Other establishments in Ucluelet were the beneficiary of this, but it just added a layer of inconvenience that could easily have been avoided by allowing takeout as so many other places have done during COVID.

    I love the view the property is beautiful. I didn’t like that our room was never cleaned throughout our 4 day trip. We found garbage and a fingernail in our room upon arriving. The restaurant had slow service and ran out of mussels which were delicious!!!

    The situation is lovely with the lounge and dining room looking out over the ocean. The rooms were touted as ocean view but more like peekaboo view. Bathroom very dark,done in black slate. The staff were indifferent,not particularly friendly. Restaurant has limited menu and slow service.

    Ucluelet

    A great place to stay. It is easy to access the Wild Pacific Trail from here (both loops) and you can walk from the bus stop on Fraser Lane to the resort in 15 minutes. Tofino Bus stops on Fraser Lane, just outside the Aquarium (which you should visit too).
