The hotel is ok, just a older one and needs a few updates, but overall a good place to stay

10/10 Exceptional

Our room was spacious, and I especially liked that the bathroom had a large counter top area with lots of room for two people to put their things without crowding each other out, and it had nice lighting and a large mirror so two people could be there at the same time. The people there were very friendly and helpful. We would DEFINITELY stay there again.

Location location location... You can see Mt. Rushmore from the balcony. 3rd floor pull up straight to the room. We had a balcony and a spa tub in the room. Ice, vending, and breakfast easy. Inside pool downstairs. Plenty of seating areas outside. Keystone a block away. Well worth it

Clean room nice location and general view. We were on the 3rd floor and our elevator on our hall didn’t work and the upkeep was lacking. But the real thing that matters is clean rooms safe area and great location.

Big room, great jet tub. Walls or rather doors way to thin making it very noisy. Great location over looking the town.

10/10 Exceptional

The location was great on top of the hill. The room was clean and staff was very friendly. They also had a hot tub and pool. We love hot tubs. There were lots of restaurants close by, even though it was kind of crowded. Beautiful little city.
Verified review

8/10 Very good

The staff was incredibly helpful and very kind, the hot tub was a must have after a long day on the road. Everything was very clean and well maintained, my only complaint from our stay was that the pool felt like an ice plunge and one of the beds in the room slipped off the frame when sat on the edge.
Verified review

8/10 Very good

Negatives: Staff knew nothing about area, restaurant recommendations, no comment, pipe below sink spraying out water, asked them to remove wet towels that I had too put on floor, they got it fixed snd left the towels, asked them to bring up towels(they were all on floor) they said to come get from desk, mold in shower snd buckled/cracked towels , ancient A/C unit couldn’t sleep with on Positives: the view of the heads at night, patio snd fire features out front were really nice snd welcoming, with plenty of seating, breakfast plentiful snd the two girls managing it on point , available snd kept things full snd plentiful

We were there three nights and no maid service was performed.

Nice location on a hill overlooking Keystone and Mount Rushmore. The room felt a little tired, dust in the corners and a few knicks in the walls. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was typical and the dining area was pleasant. All in all a nice stay.
