August 2019 2 night stay
Decided to have 2 day stopover. Excellent views looking over Bund. Did need to leave our room to see everything. Lovely night lights.Short walk to ferries and hop off an on buses. Not many eating places close by but did find a little local restaurant just around the corner or get the ferry across the river. Very cheap to travel in ferry. Dined in hotel restaurant first night and was very good. A little expensive. Great happy hour with free cocktail. Tea and coffee biscuits and fruit available all day. Great breakfast. Noise from construction overnight but didn’t disturb us too much. Staff able to communicate well with us and very helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

MISREPRESENTATION
I booked for a room with city view but was given room 1511 which was a room facing the aircon chiller with hardly any view. When I asked the front office about the view, they added I had to pay 600 yuan to change to a room with a view.

Although the hotel is a bit old in terms of woodworks, it is still really good in terms of service, the technology of the switches and auto draw curtains. Will definitely stay here again

Excellent location on the Bund with fantastic view of Pudong skyline (deluxe room). Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was good but not great.

They could not find my booking and played to blame game took me over 45 minutes to check in. Was a tight booked trip really did not have time for this inconvenience.

Literally ON the Bund.
Brilliant hotel that couldn’t be any closer to the Bund if it tried-wonderful. A great suite with a gorgeous view of the Bund itself. Bathtub in room is a decent size considering it’s Asia (some tubs are kinda small).

The room is well decorated and clean. However, the hotel management needs to step up their games. It took almost one hour queuing in line before I could check in, which I According to the staff, it was because there was a sudden surge of booking, which didn't make sense to me.
