I like this hotel because it is convenient to the places and people I need to visit when I am in Nuremberg. The hotel personnel have been wonderful on each of my stays, and the room, while not large, has been precisely what I needed for my stay. (I am one of those people who uses a hotel room for sleeping, as opposed to spending lots of time in it.) The room was very clean, and the bathroom was spotless. Each hotel worker with whom I interacted was friendly and professional. I will stay at this hotel again when I am in Nuremberg and need a place to stay.
Great location and fashionable hotel. Good design layout. Only 3 mins walk from hotel to Busbahnhof.
Our one night stay was before a River Cruise and this Hotel stay served well for that. We were within walking distance to the Old Town area for some site seeing and dinner. Good value for the money.
I stayed at this Motel One for an entire week during Christmas. It's right next to the main station and there's a tram stop right outside the building. You can easily walk into town or take a tram/U-Bahn to Dokuzentrum, Christmas market or other places. It's a nice hotel and the rooms are functional and clean. It has a desk - which I used to get some work done - but there are no power outlets near it. Luckily there are two sockets on the two sides of the bed but it's not ideal. USB ports would also be great. The bathroom was modern and clean, the products seemed good enough (although I'm not a fan of body/hair combo products). I really didn't like the fact that there is only a paper cup in the room. I got a glass one from reception (as the paper one leaked after I left some bedside water in it over night) so that can be fixed but it would be nicer if they just had a more permanent cup in the room. The breakfast was ok. The bread was nice but there were hardly any savoury vegetarian choices (veggie Aufschnitt or spreads) which was a bit disappointing. I'd also have expected some Brezeln - sold everywhere in Nuremberg - on the buffet as well as some vegan milks. After two breakfasts I went to a nearby bakery instead. Staff were very friendly (reception, house keeping) and the hotel is quite good; noise levels low (you only hear the distant sound of some trains but not disturbing at all). I'd stay at this place again.
Conveniently on perimeter of old town, near both train and bus station. Included b'fst wasn't much, rooms small, air handling system didn;t work (had to keep window closed to keep out train noise) none of that a hardship. Market price was reasonable.
Very basic hotel room - no phone, fridge, coffee/tea maker but it was clean, comfortable and great location.
Great service and good beds. Nice but small room. Close to sightseeing’s and 700m to train station.
Great location, quiet, lovely staff, breakfast was simple but tasty......motel one has got it right and this chain is where I prefer to stay.
