Service was excellent and rooms clean with daily housekeeping. Food a little disappointing and the location although by the beach suffers from being close to the airport and partially obscured by the rock face, meaning sunsets at 5 rather than 7pm.

Full marks to Tamarix!
My family and I had a wonderful 10 night stay at Tamarix del Mar. The hotel is lovely, as our all the staff, who go out of their way to assist with any query or request. The daily cleaning service was exceptional. The hotel is well positioned in the lovely area of Kamari, where it's no more than 15 minutes to all the restaurants and many great places to eat only a minute away. Highly recommend Tamarix del Mar for anyone wanting to visit Santorini and avoid the crowded areas of Oia and Fira. Both of these are worth a visit, but wouldn't stay there.
