We had a wonderfully stay in VP El Madrono. The hotel was located a little outside the city, however, the underground station was a2 minute walk from the hotel and all the main attractions were easily accessible. The hotel was clean, extremely comfortable and met all of our needs. The local area had everything we needed, bakery, restaurants, shops and chemists etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Indeed, we will definitely stay in this hotel again ourselves.
Our stay at El Madrono in Madrid was good - the hotel is probably only rated 3* because there is no gym, pool, bar etc. However, if all you need is a good sized room, very clean, with seating area and kitchenette so you can make your own breakfast etc, then this is a very good option. The surrounding area is good for eating out and a short taxi or metro ride from Madrid's main attractions.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel, should be rated at least 4 stars. Breakfast is well worth the money. Make good use of the pillow selection. Great area for shopping and eating with the locals as well as easy access to transit. Would definitely stay here again!
