Fantastic hotel, probably the best in the resort. Very quiet when we went in early May as this is the 'off' season, in between skiing and Summer. Glad we went half board as dinner was very good and few restaurants in the area were open, Lovely rooftop pool. Would have been nice to have a hot-tub too but I'm being picky. Would return.

Straubinger has exceeded my expectations - by far!

The renovation of the old Straubinger might possibly the best ever of a k.k. monarchy monument. Brillantly done by keeping old walls, doors and character in general while not making any compromises on the luxury one would expect as a guest in 2023. The state of the art spa and pool area are outstanding. The bar is phantastic. Service is very good. Bad Gastein hasn't had any hotel of that standing since the k.k. monarchy had ended more than 100 years ago. Thank you to the new owners for that architectural masterpiece. I am looking forward to my next visit.

This hotel is very clean and staff were very good, attentive and friendly. The hotel also was very immaculate. Views of the hotel were mesmerizing. Very friendly staff, breakfast was amazing. While the whole hotel staff were very nice and very helpful, i should mention the front office manager Florian for his friendly gestures for the guests and his thoughtfulness. Marina from the restaurant was also very friendly and very helpful and also very energetic. I think both of these staff are assets to this place and for the guests. Love this hotel and we will definitely be back soon.

Such a beautiful hotel in an amazing location! The hotel and rooms itself were stunning and very clean. You should definitely try the restaurant as well, the food was delicious. Everyone working there that we met were so friendly as well and really made our stay. Especially the lovely man working in the hotel bar/cafe on the day of our checkout- and the receptionist who checked us in. Thanks for such a memorable stay!
