Few minutes by foot from Sainte Catherine’s street which was great. Staff was extremely friendly. The room is SMALL and outdated but has what you need.

Hotel rebooked our room and then refused refund! We were delayed because Greyhound cancelled all buses to Montreal for the day due to weather. We called the hotel to confirm we would still arrive for the second night and to please hold the reservation. Staff was very friendly and said not a problem, they would see us the next day. When we arrived they had re-booked our room and had no vacancies. After calling a manager, the clerk assured us that they would leave a note on our file to approve a refund but that we would have to call expedia to process the refund. Unfortunately, we would have to find (and pay for) other accommodations in the meantime. Again, staff were very friendly and apologetic. When I followed up with expedia, they called to confirm with the the hotel manager who then refused to honour the refund, claiming we were a no-show. I explained again the circumstances: That I had called to confirm our late arrival and that our reservation for the second night would be waiting for us and that when it wasn't we were assured we would be refunded. Expedia customer service called the hotel again and the manager still refused. I have stayed here before and enjoyed my stay but this is unacceptable business practice. I am shocked.

For the money, this is a great resort for low-key travelers. Quiet and clean, and located right near a TON of restaurants and bars, it’s a nice spot. Rooms are a bit small, and the bathroom as well, but they’re comfy and clean. The water in the shower definitely wasn’t hot if everyone else in the building was using it, because it’s not the newest building, but other than that we had a pretty great stay. We will probably return here next time!

There was a major ant infestation in my room that cause me a lot of anxiety. And the hotel staff did not address it right away. I requested another room and was yold the hotel was fully booked. Also the bathroom door was coming off the hinges and the shower tap was broken.

Upon arrival, everything seemed great. The hotel is centrally located, surrounded by restaurants and shops. It’s a quick walk to the metro, but we were able to walk pretty much everywhere. Our room was a decent size, and at first, was very clean. However, the next day we discovered a herd of ants in our bathroom. They were all over the sink, and in the garbage. When we talked to the receptionist about it, she seemed dismissive about our concerns. She told us they’ve been spraying parts of the hotel that have been infested with ants, and that they’ll spray our room later. She didn’t offer us another room (which was fine), but she couldn’t even give us a solution to lessen the issue. We needed up having to kill the ants on the sink ourselves, and take our own garbage to prevent an even larger swarm. My girlfriend woke up one morning with tiny bites on both her arms, her legs, and her stomach. We feared bed bugs, but we DIDN’T find any when we stripped the bed and double checked the mattress. The only bugs we actually saw were the ants. As college students, we unfortunately didn’t have the option of checking out and finding another place to stay for the duration of our visit in Montreal. But the bugs in our room filled us with so much anxiety, it was hard to relax and enjoy our stay.
