So much space in the city centre
Really pleased I selected this hotel. The price may be "budget" but my single occupancy of a standard single room gave me a large double bedroom, separate lounge with dining area, a mini-kitchen with hotplates and full-size fridge, and a bathroom with both bath and shower - all this right in the centre of Prague. Some previous reviews commented on the cleanliness and service. Staying only two nights, I did not really need any daily housekeeping, so cannot comment on that, but the rooms were certainly all clean when I arrived. Extra pillows in the wardrobe were welcome - I think English people are used to deeper pillows that the Czech norm. The room was non-smoking, but I suspect that at some time some previous occupant has ignored that. My room opened directly onto the main street - great for appreciating the atmosphere of the city, but there is noisy traffic below. However, the twin-glazing was very effective at cutting that noise out of the room. The hotel does clearly indicate there is not a 24-hour reception - although staff are on call at all times. I did not need to call, so cannot comment on how efficient that was. I was very happy to be self catering, and was grateful for the crockery provided, though some people might read "tea and coffee making facilities" and expect to find the tea, coffee, milk and sugar also provided. Just learn the norms of the country you are visiting, folks!

Loved the hotel and the room. In a great location. staff were nice. Fridge and kittenette in the room was a great aspect. Could have used some milk in the fridge to make tea and some tiles in the bathroom were broken - other than that lovely stay.

This hotel was nothing like your listing
We had booked a room with 2 double beds & kitchen, but when we got there they didn’t have one. To be fair they gave us 2 rooms for the same price. One room had a microwave but no utensils. We stayed a week but the room was only cleaned 3 times, so rubbish was piling up. Reception was only open once despite being told it was open 3-6pm everyday. My main concern was you hardly saw any staff, so when my key got locked in my room there was no one to help. The emergency number didn’t work. Fortunately another guest managed to get the hostess to come to the hotel to let me in after 6 hours of waiting. Emergency services with sirens blaring kept us awake even though we were on the top floor. The lift only went from 1st to 3rd floor, so cases had to be carried up 2 flights of long stairs. The hotel was in a good location

Only location is great in the city center
It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Very dirty, poorly maintained, the mattress is horrible ,pillows are creepy old damaged Noisy’s located in the Main Street. No soundproof,No housekeeping, if you ask for a bedsheet you will be ignored…. No one cleaned the room for my whole stay. The only good thing about this place is the location ,it’s city centred !

Decent stay but with minor issues
Had a few issues when we arrived .. Room was listed as having a standup shower. We were given a standalone bath in the corner of the main room with a hand held shower with no curtains .... I wonder how one can take a shower without messing the room completely ... However, the front desk person was able to transfer us to a differnt room with a different set of issues ... There was no safe in the room. The attendant told us we would bring one in the morning ... We raised the concern that the safe was not bolted... He said that the safe was heavy enough that it cannot be carried out ... well ... true if you cannot lift 30 pounds .. so we had to carry all our valuables with us at all times as we considered it safer than putting it in that safe. Also the TV remote was not working. This did not get resolved .. however, we were not there to watch tv so we didnt care. Besides these issues, THE BREAKFAST IS AWESOME !! Sausage, Eggs, Latte ... great stuff. The room was relatively clean but there were some spider webs on the ceiling. The bed was very comfortable and the room was overall very quiet. Location is very convenient. Close to the Museum Metro. Overall, 7 out of 10.
