Tiniest Bath in Europe for Exploring Top of Europe
Hey has a few buildings. We stayed at the guest House which is more of a basic version of the hotel and we did feel like 2nd class citizen. While the price is still really high - equivalent to a 4-star hotel we stayed in Geneva the same week. The room was basic. Bed is half-way decent with thin sheets. There is no air-con and Interlaken can get really hot even in September. Bathroom is as tiny as a coat closet, probably the tiniest we have seen in Europe. There is a dance studio across the street. It blasted loud music until 8:50pm. Anything good about the stay? It has an elevator, is 2-min walk from the best bar in town and it is 6 min from Interlaken West station.

Second worst hotel I’ve stayed at in my life
I’ve traveled to Europe over 15 times across countries and this has to be single most disappointing experience. Overpriced shoddy hotel with a pathetic attitude and service. We were initially shafted to a room with windows that are 3 feet away from a wall. After creating a scene we were given a room that had some sunlight. We knew the rooms weren’t air conditioned but come with a fan. A broken fan that makes more noise than actually circulating air. It was blistering hot. Couldn’t sleep for the 2 nights that I was there. If I hadn’t spent 450 chf on the booking; I would’ve shifted hotels. Switzerland is known to have the cleanest water one that can you drink from the washroom tap. However, our washroom water was brown for over 24 hours. Could not even use the shower. The sink was clogged and the water got filthier with every round of flushing. They came to check the washroom literally 10 mins before my checkout. Would not recommend to anyone. Please don’t be deceived by the pictures and social media.

Tiny rooms.
The room looked nothing like the room shown. There were three of us in a TINY, non-airconditioned room. The third bed was in a loft, up a ladder. NOT what we booked. When we informed the front desk that our room did not reflect our booking, the receptionist said that was a mistake on the part of Hotels.com. They said the site had linked the wrong picture to the booking.
