Getting Lost in Venice
This hotel was wonderful. Riccardo and Guido were the nicest men and they were very helpful in recommending places to visit, restaurants, etc. The hotel is very old. 1490's old. But it was perfect. We fell in love with Venice. The location of Lanterna di Marco Polo is the best. The rooms are very quaint but nice. Showers are super small but did the job. Only drawback was that there is no lift (elevator), and we were on the 4th floor. It was the 3rd floor but they count from 0 in Italy, lol. WE LOVED THIS PLACE. Our group of 7 was split between 3 rooms and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Venice. We loved getting lost in the maze that is Venice and soaked in the food, wine and scenery. Such an amazing place and thanks to Riccardo and Guido who made our stay so nice and relaxing.

Great stay in prime location.
Great location! It was minutes from Rialto Bridge and about 5 minutes(maybe less) from St. Marks Square. Very friendly staff at the front desk. We would stay here again.

Disappointing
Great location and price was right. Staff was very friendly, but largely absent. Room was dated, bed and pillows were horribly uncomfortable, and shower was tiny with nozzle taped together. Overall, disappointed based on prior good reviews.
