Very Fun,near Grand Palace
Interesting hotel. No A/C but that was to be expected. My new friend, Harry, at Front Desk, accommodated us with a fan in our room and could not help us enough with delightful things around the area. He is truly a Blessing and an asset to this hotel.

Clean, warm, comfy
Room was clean, warm and comfortable. Service is good - though a little uncomfortably "friendly" towards a solo female traveller. They were doing construction during my stay so it can only be getting better :)

Central, friendly and unusual hotel
This is a very centrally located hotel. It has a quirky North African decor and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Terrible maze
Probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. It was almost impossible to find my room as the first floor had many split levels going off it, and in order to find room 116/117 I had to follow signs for room 119-12x, so that it took me 10min wandering around a maze of corridors to find my room. Not sure that the layout is even fire safety compliant. My room had no desk, the mattress was old and poor quality, the bathroom had no hook to hang a towel and the sower gel provided was a half empty tester. There was no sound proofing between rooms, so no privacy. The breakfast in the morning was a bread roll and a croissant that was on a plate as i was seated at the table. No choice of musli, and also I had no idea how long the food had been there and how many people had touched it. So I chose to have breakfast at Exki.

Average conditions
Generally ok. Fast check-in and check-out. The room needed renovation. No desk to work with the laptop. Simple breakfast but ok.

Great location, interesting hotel
The hotel has a great location. Be sure to ask for a quiet room on the back so you don't hear noise from the restaurants & bars below the hotel rooms. The hotel is unusual--really has a middle eastern flair in the decor. The rooms are small and the air circulation is not very good. There are few outlets to recharge electronics. The owner was very welcoming and proud of his hotel.
