ロケーション、設備ともに満足に値する快適なホテル
初めてのソウルでエリアもよく分からずに決めたホテルでしたが、ロケーション、設備とも申し分なく快適に過ごすことができました。 地下鉄４号線明洞駅7, 8番出口からは徒歩数分、地下鉄２号線乙支路３街駅へも徒歩圏内で、地下１階出口の横にはキレイなコンビニ、すぐ近くにはレートが良いことで知られる大使館前両替所や人気のカフェもあり、買い物にも観光にも大変便利でした。 クイーンサイズのベッドにロフト（シングルサイズのマットレス）の部屋を選びましたが、子供との２人旅には十分な広さで最適でした。折り畳み式のテーブルと椅子が壁のフックにぶら下がっているユニークな構造でしたが（下して広げて置いてもスーツケース２個を広げる余裕のある広さ）、必要十分な設備でした。 電気ポット、冷蔵庫、貴重品用金庫、vidal sassoonのドライヤー、ウォシュレット付き水洗トイレ、そこそこの水圧のシャワー（ガラス扉で洗面、トイレとは隔離）、毎日３本ずつ補充されるミネラルウォーター、ティーバッグやインスタントコーヒー、マグカップ、グラス、ティースプーンなど完備。使い捨ての割りばしやスプーン、フォーク、ナイフは４階のチェックインカウンター前にあり、自由に使えます。ウェルカムドリンクは、ノンアルコールなら部屋への持ち込みOK。アルコールドリンクはバーでいただきます。マリオット系列なので従業員も皆様とてもフレンドリーで感じよく、部屋も清潔で女性二人でも安心して宿泊できました。 あえてマイナス要素を上げるならば、1. 壁に設置された冷蔵庫が驚くほど小さく、奥行きも500mlのペットボトル分しかないこと（朝食用のヨーグルトは横向きにしないと入りません）、2. 電気ポットの置いてあるサイドテーブルの引き出しに金庫、ベッドを挟んで反対側のサイドテーブルにティーバッグやカップという謎の配置だったこと、3. バストイレの扉が引き戸で閉めるのにちょっとコツがいること、4. 分かっていたこととはいえ、夜遅くまで買い物や食べ歩きをして疲れた日本人としては湯舟が恋しくなったこと、ぐらいでしょうか。 いわゆるラグジュアリーホテルではありませんが、次回も泊まりたいと思うほど居心地のよい快適なホテルでした。
ベッドの上には毎日チョコレートが置かれている。
ベッド両側およびロフトベッド足元には、USB各２個とコンセント各１個の電源あり。スマホは長めの充電ケーブルがあると便利。
