A Real Disappointment
The best part of the Regency House Hotel is definitely the location. It is within walking distance of so many attractions especially the West End productions which is why I was in London. It was also a very clean hotel. Other than that, I found my stay there very disappointing and was a bit surprise of the the 8.0 score. The heat didn't' work in my room for the first few nights and the last few nights. I am not the type of person who complains in most situations but it was freezing. The front desk clerk was extremely rude about it, and I felt like I was bothering him. He did give me a small heater but with a lot of attitude. Also, you can definitely hear your neighbors. Unfortunately, on my last few days there I was under people who were extremely noisy and woke me up by 7:30 am each morning. Finally, I understood the rooms were going to be small but my shower I could barely fit in, and the condition of my room wasn't great. It definitely could use a make-over. I had a really amazing trip to London and plan on coming back in the next six months. My only real issue was this hotel.

Overall a good, clean and well located hotel. I felt the photos on Trivago were a little misleading as the room was a lot smaller than depicted...must have had the estate agent lens on😁. On arrival we were welcomed and the staff were more than helpful. If you're looking for a base The Regency is ideal for a couple of days and whilst the double bed was good, next time I'll opt for two singles. If I had to score out of 10 I'd guve it a strong 8+

Very enjoyable night’s stay
Myself and five female friends shared a room for the night. The room was cosy but clean although hot until the manager showed us how to work the air conditioning. I am vegan and a previous review warned that dairy free milk was not provided so as there was a fridge in the room I went prepared and took my own. Breakfast was interesting. Huge bowls of cereal arrived with the milk already added followed within minutes by two of the cooked breakfasts much to our amusement. The hotel is close to underground stations but also within walking distance of Covent Garden and central London. We will definitely stay again as it’s brilliant for a night in London

Quiet haven.
Really nicely situated hotel. Room was small but very well equipped. It had a nice garden and the breakfast was really nice. The area was quiet at night but only a short distance from Oxford Street. The staff were very friendly and kept the room really clean. I would definatley stay there again.
