Over priced and underwhelmed
The area was amazing with beautiful sites and shops. The hotel room is cramped and it is more of an hostel than a hotel. The key fact of not having a kettle in the room for complimentary tea & coffee is a big minus. The fact that if you go to the hotel cafe and have a small cup of coffee and a small bowl of cereal and I’m charged €17 is a big over charge of any extablishment. On the plus side, the cleaning staff and the night receptionist are polite and friendly is the only thing going for this place. In my humble view, they seriously need to overhaul the rooms and their charging policy for breakfast. Had I known it was more of an hostel than a hotel, I would not have booked any nights with them when the hostels in the local area would offer better service/room at a much cheaper price.

Exploring Germany
The room was very clean, staff members are friendly. I personally think that for the price it wasn’t worth it. I would put this hotel as more of a hostel/budget hotel. The room was overcrowded, too many things in a very cramped space. My daughter and I decided to have breakfast a very small bowl of cereal & a small cup of coffee, (there weren’t a varied variety of breakfast choice) for which we were charged an extortionate price of €17. When I query this at the hotel front desk (upon checking out) I was told sorry but that’s the charge and you can go and have breakfast now as you’ve already paid for it. I was livid as the the person checking us out knew this was wrong (hence the apology) yet they still charged me. Smh the most expensive cup of coffee & cereal ever!

Stay away at ALL costs! AWFUL!
TERRIBLE! The rooms are WAY smaller than advertised, have not been updated in decades, are barely acceptably clean, there is a TON of street noise from a club / bar across the street, and the front desk staff IS HORRIBLY RUDE! STAY AWAY!

Good for a night
Breakfast was one of bests! Hotel was decently clean, but questionably worth the money. Not the most comfortable. Most beautiful bathrooms though. Close walk to Frühlingsfest which was awesome.

Suited our needs (and pocket!)
Hotel was in a convenient location; only about 20 - 30 minutes walk to both the central station (main transport link for airport and train journeys) and Marienplatz (meeting place for most walking tours). To get any closer to these areas the price was much higher for hotel accommodation. Being right by an underground station (Sendlinger Tor) also meant that it was easy to get around the city without walking. A few cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity along with a smart shopping area. The hotel itself was comfortable and warm, we found no fault in the room. Two out of three of the receptionists we met were quite unsociable but this did not affect our stay; the lady on our last day being friendly, and we were able to leave our luggage in the reception cupboard once checked out. No drink making facilities, but there was a hairdryer.
