Decent little place for a short stay
Not a modern hotel but decent hotel for the price in Venice. Comfortable beds and clean room. The room had a little bit of a bleach smell, so if you’re sensitive to smells then that may be an issue. Could hear the next door a little bit. It's an older building, so doors and such are fairly loud. Location is pretty good - close to restaurants, train station, bus station and the sea bus. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful when asked questions (we asked about good places to eat and how to reach the bus station for the airport). Overall, a decent place to stay in Venice. You really have to adjust your expectations in Venice as you won't get an upscale hotel at this price, unlike in some of the other cities.

Enjoyed our stay at Villa Rosa!
Stayed 2 nights. Room was very large and bathroom was updated with shower/sink/toilet. Air conditioning worked very well. Located off the main drag near the train station, down an alley in a quiet location. It was a little hard to find, would be helpful to have a sign on the side of building instead of up on a balcony. Breakfast was just okay, could use some nice pastries. Beds were comfortable. Shutters on windows were nice to open when we wanted fresh air, and closed when we wanted to keep the sun and noise out. Wifi worked well. I would stay here again!
