A little Gem
my wife and I stayed in this hotel for 12 nights recently. The first thing to say is the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff in reception, the dining room and the bedroom cleaners. We booked half board and the quality and variety of food at both breakfast and dinner was very good. our bedroom was very clean and comfortable and had one of the best showers I have experienced in hotels for a long time. The bedroom was cleaned daily. Already looking forward to returning next year

Lovely stay in the sun
Lovely hotel close to the beach. Arrived late and checked in easily, nice room on the 4th floor. Buffet breakfast was lovely with a wide choice of hot and cold food, both waitresses serving breakfast were very helpful and efficient. Pool is smallish so not suitable for "real" swimming but we tended to walk to the beach where there are loads of beds available. Hotel offers bbq food in the daytime which looked delicious but too close to breakfast for us to try. Didn't really enjoy the Space Bar on the roof. Not very comfortable and plastic glasses also the hot tub up there seems incongruous. We ate at the buffet dinner once and it was very nice. Our airline contacted us on our return day offering us the option of extending our stay by three days, quick chat with Patricia on reception and all sorted we moved to room 102 which had a fantastic balcony overlooking the pool. The area has many bars and restaurants close by, Torremolinos town is walkable as is Benalmadena marina at a push. The only negatives for us were the hotel is enclosed by some ugly buildings and i wouldn't have like a room on the road. Staff all great and hard working.

Essence Boutique Hotel-enjoyed my 4 day stay. Overall Clean Hotel: Room spotless and cleaned every day. I had a room with partial sea view enjoyed seating there in the mornings to see the sunrise. Reception experience was great check-in was smooth. Arrived a bit earlie, but room was ready so we were lucky. Very helpful staff even with my patchy "Spanish". Breakfast was great: Good Selection of hot/cold options and Fruits. Swimming Pool clean not too overcrowded. 2 Jacuzzi on upper level was ok clean. Very big and comfy day beds come with your own towel or hire from Reception for the duration of your stay. The beach is a 3 mins walk so I was at the beach which I enjoyed. Places to eat; Restaurant lots of nice eatries within walking distance from the hotel on the beach front. The staff worked really hard from cleaning team to bar and waitress and front desk and shout out to the waitress she served tirelessly. NB Buy a bottle of water if you are a tea lover but everything else is provided. I definitely would be a returning guest.

Nicely located hotel
Hotel was in a good location and generally okay, pool facilities, bars etc. Our air-con was out and the hotel staff said they'd fix it but didn't. We had an unusual interaction with reception when we told them there was an ants nest in our room - the guy who checked us in on the first day insisted that no-one had checked into that room and they did nothing about the ants nest....he was surprised when he checked our room key at check out!
