Great location but cramped tiny rooms
Great location in the heart of Saint Germain. However the hotel room was tiny, a bit cramped and there was no hair dryer and bathroom was very compact with hardly any room to move or put toiletries. The cleaning service was ok but they didn’t change towels very frequently (I was there for over a week on business). The cost was extortionate however for what is effectively a two star hotel. If you are a tourist coming for a couple of days then this ideal, but not for a business stay where you need space to work in the evenings etc.

Worst hotel ever!
THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT! My credit card was charged twice and they've never fixed it, still waiting on mu refund. I was given the wrong keys when I checked in so my name was in one room but my keys were from a different room, I found out as I went back one afternoon and asked for a key to my room, the rude front desk person said they had nobody with that name on that room. 3 out of 5 nights with NO HOT WATER!!!!! You can hear and feel the train every single night, impossible to have a good night sleep, last but not least, the elevator is just for 1 person and 1 luggage, it's always in use so be ready to use this narrow stairs and climb up to 5 floors. The area is not even that great, several blocks till you can find a restaurant. Horrible experience with this hotel

You will never sleep except between around 1 am-6 am. Whenever the underground train stops running. It literally shook the pictures on the wall. The earplugs on the “desk” should have been my clue. Don’t bring luggage there is no room for it. The elevator is two people or one person and a suitcase. The pillows are toddler size. Good luck in the shower if you aren’t a very small person. Even then trying to reach your shampoo on the shower floor is interesting. Our luck the power went out only in this hotel and the fire alarm went off for a while one evening. They finally fixed the power and then eventually the alarm but then the air in the room wasn’t working. A few hours later that started working again. Staff were very nice and lots of things are walkable but you’ll be too tired to enjoy.

This hotel had everything we wanted: a good breakfast (meats, cheeses, breads, cereals, yogurts, hot drinks, cold drinks) to start our day, helpful staff that patiently answered our questions, a clean comfortable bed to return to after a busy day sight seeing. It was close to 3 different metro lines (4,10, and 12) and the neighborhood had plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Louvre and probably the same to Notre Dame with wonderful pre-Hausman sites along the way. I did not come to Paris to sit in my hotel, but I was grateful for the Hotel de Saint Germain at the start and end of each day I was there.
