The hotel is in a great location. My bed was roomy and the room was sufficiently large. The bathroom is very tiny. I am tall and spca between the toilet and the basin is too small.

Nice accomodations in heart of Amsterdam
We had a great stay at this hotel. Best aspects? Location in the core of Amsterdam, very friendly staff, great breakfast, and excellent security. The building needs a refresh and the carpet on the ground floor in particular is badly in need of a replacement. Several other aspects of the decor need work (like paint on the hallway walls). Our room itself was very nice. Still for the money, this is an excellent deal for a safe place to stay right in the heart of the action of Amsterdam. Main train station is 10 minute walk. The museum area is 20-30 minutes walk. Great food and shopping is just outside the door!

the hotel 's location is great. quite but very central. not very modern but cosy. It was very quite until the room next to ours was booked and we could hear every word that was said in the room

First let me say that Lwin who set up the Breakfast room was a delight. She went out of her way to be friendly and gracious and helped to make our otherwise so so stay here ok. The selection for breakfast was not terrible or great. The location of this property was perfect as far as being able to get around Amsterdam however it was way overpriced for what it was. The shower was painfully small although they did have good shower heads and pressure. The hallways were dark and a bit dingy and painted a depressing color of blue. The front office staff was not very friendly or welcoming although not rude either, just going through the motions. This BW was overall a disappointment especially when compared with the BW we stayed in in Bordeaux on the same trip.
