    Hotel San Marco was alright. I hoped that it would have been better. The staff was great, giving us great advice about getting around their amazing town. The room was very small even by European standards. Breakfast was adequate.

    5 minute easy walk to the old city. Lonely breakfast and pool. Perhaps the best part was the friendly helpful staff. I’m not sure why this isn’t a 4 star property, though I stayed in the new annex, so am not sure what the rooms are like in the main building. Easy parking.
