The room that I stayed in was not on the website. Square footage maybe 175 - 200sf. It was two twin beds pushed together. Darkish and very very small. I felt like I was tricked because the rooms on the website looked luxurious and this one was anything but. The employees were nice and as accommodating as they could be, but they wouldn't change my room because I was the only solo traveler and they didn't want to put a couple in that room. I had to put my (large) suitcase on the bed, that's how small it was. The bathroom amenities were those little plastic packets of shampoo/body gel. Water pressure was very good. It's a fantastic location, very near St Mark's Square and the water taxis. They have a continental breakfast, although there are many, many restaurants within a very short walking distance.

Had a great time at Castello! One of the few places in the city where dragging your luggage around isn't so bad Since it's right by San Zachari, no bridge! They are really, really well located. The staff was very kind and helpful with helping navigate an early departure and local transportation.

A very atmospheric establishment near San Marco
A very atmospheric establishment in an old house, a five-minute walk from Piazza San Marco. You just need to know where to go :-) google maps shook us there, and also considering that each of the eight travelers trusts their own google maps more, and in general. Downstairs there is a porter's office and a tiny dining room, a steep staircase goes up (there is no elevator!), three floors, a veranda on the roof, you can sit in the evenings, contemplate the surrounding rooftops and drink prosecco. A room in the Venetian style, gilded patterns on the walls, carved chairs, funny. Water flows in jerks, the pressure decreases and increases in jerks. The windows are small, overlooking the trash can, okay. The air conditioner is working. Breakfast is not included in the price, you can order separately - inexpensive, but very scarce: a cup of coffee, croissant, cheese, cookies ... that's almost all.
