We arrived late at night from Milan airport and really appreciated the late check in, since the front desk is open 24 hours. Its a nice but pretty basic hotel. Good breakfast in a lovely outdoor setting with a nice view of the Citta Alta. The tram to the Citta Alta was literally a 3 min walk away which was nice. It was a perfect one night stop before heading to the lakes region.

The location is excellent and well place for visiting the Citte Alta. Because we were only there for 1 night, I chose a standard room. The furnishings were very good apart from the carpet which was faded and the antiquated hairdryer! This didn’t spoil anything though. The public areas were beautifully maintained and the staff very helpful. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again.
