The room was very hot. Windows opened but there were no screens. When I asked the front desk about ac - he said it is only May 13 - we do not turn on the air conditioning until summer. I asked for a fan but never received one. Breakfast was a typical European breakfast.

Don't stay here!
Hotel Sempione was a disappointing experience overall. The rooms are TINY and everything felt just a little dirty. There was absolutely nothing on the walls and the whole room had nothing comfortable, with very old furniture and grimy walls. The shower walls were filled with mildew and the bed was very uncomfortable with the mattress completely sagging on both sides. For an EXTREMELY expensive rate during Salone (500eur!!!), this no where came close to reaching expectations. I tried to change my dates 36 hours before my reservation and they also were not accommodating. Would not stay here again!

Nice 2 nights stay at Hotel Sempione. Fairly good location. Walking distance to Republica Metro station (Duomo station is 3 stops away). Restaurants and super markets are also close to metro station. Small cafetaria area, but decent breekfast that was included in the price. No coffee maker, water boiler and iron box in the room we stayed in. M/W oven, however, was available in the kitchen area. The room we stayed seemed outdated. Bathroom was small, but good! Staff are nice and helpful.

It’s ok
Hotel is situated in a great spot, surrounded buy shops and amenities and a walkable distance from the train station. Staff are friendly, breakfast was ok bread was a bit stale but in general it was ok, room was mall , hardly enough space to place two large cases, bathroom was very small too. In general the service was good.

Pleasant hotel. 15 mins walk from Central Station, Republica metro is conveniently round the corner with links to the Cathedral in 10 mins. Small tidy rooms with all you need for a few nights stay. Breakfast simple but pleasing. Friendly staff.
