Lovely short stay
We spent two nights here and it was fantastic. Cosy, comfortable, with all necessary amenities. The hosts were super friendly and on hand when needed and the breakfast was drlicious. They also catered for vegans without any issue.

This was an amazing find online. Superb little place, fantastic hosts and a breakfast that was out of this world. Location is ideal, just a few minutes from the pier and the Lanes. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

We drove right past the guest house initially as we couldnt read door numbers fast enough! There was zero parking available on the roadside at that time. We stopped and called and Phil said drive back up the hill and he would flag us down. The guest house was the best looking house on the street with lots of flowers outside. We unloaded luggage and my husband went to park with a parking permit that Phil filled out for him. £10 for 24 hours. Admittedly he did have to park a few blocks away but it appeared to be a safe area. Parking in Brighton is hard to find for sure. The guest house was lovely. Our hosts Phil and Mick were super friendly and Mick was nice enough to carry our heavy bags up to the top floor as there is no lift / elevator. Our room was comfortable and clean. We had a nice selection of tea and coffee and a kettle in our room along with a mini fridge which had milk and water for us. It was very obvious that attention to detail was important to Phil and Mick. The dining room for breakfast was perfect with linen napkins folded nicely on the tables. Phil told me he makes all his own jams and jellies and that day homemade cheese and sun-dried tomato bread / toast was on the menu. I had yoghurt and fresh fruit and a crumpet stack, juice and tea. We had plenty to eat and drink and it was all very good. This guest house is in a perfect location for walking to the waterfront, Brighton Pier and Brighton Pavillion. We would definitely stay here again.
