$1200 a night headache
We stayed at a two bedroom ocean view suite. Beautiful view but unbelievably dirty room, from stained walls, to greasy doors. Dust all over the edges. Spoke to night manager who said he would send someone never did. Spoke to front desk who finally sent someone until finally they cleaned a bit. Furniture like chairs and couches full of stains. Furniture and floors chipped, its tired needs remodeling. And the icing on the cake was at 9 at night there was weed smell coming into the suite through the vents. Called evening front desk they sent someone to the room with a spray like I would spray toxins all over. It didn’t end there, the security came to look for the culprit around to see if they can bust them. Apparently it’s 500 bucks as a fine. They never came back to let us know. When we woke up in the morning the room stank of stale smoke. For $1200 a night it was more of a headache.

I’ve been to this hotel years ago. Genuinely love it, but now I’ve realized a few things. They charge for water unbelievably. One of the silliest things. Other hotels on the beach do not charge the way this hotel does. Some staff don’t know what’s going on when you ask questions. Stay itself was just nice, nothing super special.

Big comfy rooms - very slow elevators
Have been here several times and we come back because GBH has large comfortable rooms and a nice poolside lounging area. The only issue is that the elevators are clearly inadequate - so much so that staff - and the building contractors upgrading the rooms- are constantly using the guest elevators slowing things down even more.

Good stay during NYE
It a beautiful hotels. The lobby and rooms are well done and we have no issues. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only issue is the elevators. There are 3 and it takes sometimes even 10mins to get up to the room. One issue that slows is down is that staff use if to transport direct dishes/ laundry etc and that takes away from the customer experience and slows it down.
