This place is beautiful, rooms were dope, food delicious, beach beautiful. People friendly and helpful. Drinks were flowing- definitely do the all inclusive. 100% worth it.
I reserve a deluxe room with spa, there was maybe 20 guest in the hotel and i was given a room on the first floor with no intimity at all so I paid a lot of money for a spa that I could not use. When I went to the reception to change room I was told that there was no other similar room available, which was a total lye, because the hotel was empty due to covid. I will never go back to this hotel. the overall hotel was clean, but the service was bad, I can't imagine how it would have been if the hotels was full. Room service about one hour and food cold at arrival. about 10 couples on the beach and it took 30 minutes to receive our drinks, and I had paid for a private palapas at 45US per day, again the hotel was empty, so imagine when it's busy.
Not so good. Internet does not work and food was sub par. Many loud screaming babies. Beach is great!
Great location, walking distance to many key spots (e.g., ferry, restaurants, shops, etc.) The property is very well kept and love the heated pool. Also great food.
The property was nice and clean; very well kept. We did include breakfast and only paid by the day for All-Inclusive if we knew we would be on premise all day. I would suggest not doing All-Inclusive the whole week but rather by day like we did. One: the drinks seemed watered down unless you were taking shots and two if you like exploring the island for food/drinks/site seeing its not worth it the whole time. It is VERY cheap to eat/drink on the island. Make sure you take pesos or exchange at a local bank not on the resort. The bank exchange rate is better. Additionally, the balcony tub was not private at all so that was misleading to me and we had to change rooms upon arrival because we paid for the better room and got a terrible view from the balcony. If you want ocean view you have to pay for the highest rated room otherwise you will not see it. We paid the next level down and got a side view. We plan to come back in June for my sons senior trip and have not decided if we would come back here or go to another hotel. Again, it was nice and clean but wished our room was a tad better.
Expedia sold the trip as an all inclusive but when we got there we were told that it was breakfast only. Ended up having to pay an extra $300 for the stay. There really weren’t any amenities, couple things in the mini bar but that’s about it. The service was hit and miss. The waitress at breakfast was horrible, forgot plates, brought the wrong food and wasn’t pleasant. The alcohol was heavily watered down but the outside waiters were diligent about bringing drinks and food. The room service was really good and timely. I liked having the hot tub on the balcony, we used that several times. Didn’t use the spa, instead got the $30 massage on the beach - it was fantastic! The beach is beautiful and clean and the location is good but loud. We walked to and from the ferry.
We have stayed here multiple times. Love it. Service is great, the spa is awesome- prices fantastic and they do a great job! Food is good but we typically do All inclusive for the drinks, breakfast and lunch, then eat out for dinner since there are so many great restaurants on the island. They will arrange golf cart rentals for you if wanted too. Wish they would go back to the really high end liquor though. Must say we miss that! But choices are not horrible.
Great place, location and staff . Ricardo is the man
i am a repeat customer because this hotel is so nice, and the staff there are wonderful.
