I arrived late but rang ahead so they kept the kitchen open for me,the pub was very busy but the girls at the bar were very friendly and quickly got my room sorted. The food i had was very good. I would definitely use again.

8/10 Very good

Great place to stay
A lovely place to stay and the king size bedded room with the little patio area outside was really nice. Great to wake up to a sea view. The cooked breakfast was very good, however I was very disappointed with my main course, a vegetarian curry. at dinner the night before The butternut squash and carrot were mushy and I didn’t find it particularly tasteful. It was more like soup than a curry. It had obviously been heated up too much and I burnt the back of my throat (still sore the day after) upon first tasting. Such a shame as without that disappointment I would have given the hotel 5 stars. I reported my dissatisfaction to the very nice girl who served us. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The evening service was fabulous, however the break service was poor on two days with Daz. He was very disorganised.

8/10 Very good

Lovely place marred by one small incident on check in. When someone turns up totally loaded with bike gear to put a jug and keys into their already full hand rather than offer to carry them to the room at the far reaches of the building that you are showing them to seemed rude and showed a lack of understanding. COVID is not an excuse since she handled them before passing them to me anyway.
