Pending review Just don't. I'm so sad and disappointed. I took my there for his birthday dinner at Manny's and a stay at the W Foshay! I haven't been here in 7 years but thought it would be just as good as the last time. It's a W! First, the valet team and front desk people were all friendly and nice. Thank you! The room clean, comfy bed, decent amenities. I'd give the room a 3. Furniture was uncomfortable and crowded & 2 lights did not work. An awesome dinner Manny's! The hosts, John at the bar and server David were absolutely spot on awesome! The rest of the trip, disappointing w/ horrible customer service. I am not an unkind person & pride myself in being a good customer no matter the level of service I get. But when you get NO service, NO hello, smile nor acknowledgment that you've even walked into an establishment... Let alone 2 of them in one hotel it's disheartening and sad. We live in the suburbs of Mpls and came for 1 evening to let the city show people there are businesses that continue to try after all of the chaos of the last 3 years. Manny's shined....W not so much. The people working in the property bar/restaurants should be ashamed. Grow up. Stop talking to each other, pay attention to guests walking in & Say Hello! Prohibition smelled like my granny's basement. Open for only 30 min's, stepped off the elevator w/ five staff looking at you like you're interrupting their time. 😔 The Living Room no different. 12 customers and zero attention or care.
