Unfortunately the bathroom in the floor we stayed has a border on the floor between sink area and room that is a hazard for tripping ( floor is not even). I fell twice and after complaining they suggested to change romos but we noticed that all the rooms on that floor had the same issue. We used to stay here all the time and it never used to be an issue but it seems that as part of the upgrades they made the change or left incomplete. Aside from room layout location is still great and staff is normally very good.

Great classic hotel, in the middle of downtown Veracruz ! Nothing is perfect, but the Diligencias is close to perfect ! Great caring staff, 2 excellent restaurants, one with great buffet breakfast, the other with super lunch special everyday ! Very comfortable beds & best cable TV i have ever seen ! Extra high praise to Tracy & Francisco at reception !

The is location and Spanish still building. The room was out dated with run down furniture. I can take that put when it was time to shower the that evening a little hot water came out the next morning before leaving for airport I turned it on and no hot water at all to the shower there was hot water at the sink had to travel all day nasty.

It was clean and beautiful inside. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the buffet for the extra charge at booking time. Definitely worrh a stay. The plaza was across the street and its conveniently locTed nesr the shops and church. Definitely staying here again when we come back in a few months.a big shout to them on early check in arrival. We got in at 8am and our rooms were ready. Thank you for the great hospitality.
