The property needs a proper looking at. The balcony of some rooms opens on to the road where you can literally hop in. Our balcony doors were all broken so you could have someone walk in through it absolutely with ease. We did not therefore end up using both the rooms as we did not feel comfortable to let kids sleep in a room that could be accessed from the balcony. We ended up cramming all in 1 room.
The Food is absolutely NOT 4 star but it seems it is pointless mentioning that as I can see the hotel has bad reviews about its food since 2019 so it seems the kitchen manager/head chef must be a relative of the owners or the owner themselves. If you are a vegetarian or eat just Chicken or white meat, DO NOT book here. I ate just salad and chips for 3 days twice a day as there was literally no alternative. The food tasted really not good either so had to eat everything with ketchup and mayo to get some taste.
The staff were incredible though. Very friendly and the swimming pools were great although due to the cold weather, we did not enter the pool even once in a week as it was freezing in the water.
Overall, I won't recommend the hotel if you're after food and decor but for staff and facilities, I might come back.
