Don't believe the photos
This hotel is a step above a roach motel. I had stayed in three other hotels in Japan. This hotel was my last stop back in Tokyo before heading to the airport. Because the other three hotels were great, I assumed I was on a lucky spree. I usually stay at American chain hotels when traveling overseas. The hotel entrance is on the third floor tucked behind a dirty sidewalk..then you walk into a lobby with a horrible odor. The lighting was bad and I just felt instantly dirt. After checking in, that same smell lingered in the hallway on my floor. My room was dated and worn from the carpet to the mini-sofa. You could see the dirt stains on the sofa. After attempting to sanitize, I decided to just sit in the desk chair. Thank God I was only there for one night and probably would have canceled if it wasn't a prepaid room.

Double room not for 2.
The room could be bigger if it was for 2 people. The double room would be a little too small for 2 non Asian sized people. Apart from that, the location was superb and definitely worth considering for the next trip.

Very good location only 10 minutes walk from station. Freindly stuff, nice accomodation, clean room and nice shops, restaurants and convenience shops.

Great location but bad bed
The staff was friendly and the room was okay. Very close to all the fun areas which was nice. The only bad thing was the bed and pillows. The bed was hard and the pillows were stiff. If you’re used to a softer bed then this is not for you. It was hard to get good sleep and woke up with soreness in shoulders and back.

Great location to explore Shinjuku
The hotel is located a few meters away from the golden gai area but it was still quiet. We were on the 9th floor so this may have made a difference. Room was clean and small which is typical for Japan unless you seek out a more expensive and western style hotel. Lots of restaurants and bars close by with easy walking distance to the robot restaurant and the Godzilla head. Great location to explore shinjuku. The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. The front desk stored our luggage until it was times for us to leave. If you will be needing a large taxi better to book it ahead of time but we fit 5 large bags and 3 ppl in a regular taxi which we waived down on the street. The breakfast buffet was yummy.
