    Missed opportunity

    The reception staff did not speak any English luckily my partner could converse in Italian but getting information was extremely difficult. We booked a superior double overlooking the ocean we were allocated a room on the first floor which overlooked a dry dock and a white wall not the ocean view we exThe reception staff did not speak any English luckily my partner could converpected. When entering the room the temperature was 30 degrees there was no instructions on how to operate the A/C we had to go to reception she did not understand the problem but a man came later to show us the workings of the Air conditioning which was actually ineffectual. The receptionist and the staff member at breakfast spoke no English so ordering a cup of Tea was difficult. The receptionist and the team member in the early evening were more interested in messages on their mobile phones and having conversations on there mobiles than dealing with guests. The hotel is not situated in the town centre so be prepared to walk at least 1 km into town. There is no Taxi service to speak of, we tried to book a taxi via reception the night before our departure but there was no answer from the company the night reception guy was very helpful. In the end the owners husband gave us a ride to catch the bus to our next destination for 15 Euros. There are no restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel so you have to go into the town. It is disappointing as we were really looking forward to our stay at this hotel.

    Piccoli accorgimenti per migliorare molto

    L'hotel é in una zona di porto periferica con bar annesso e il nome Palace crea aspettative maggiori. La spiaggia non è molto distante. C'è stata un pó di confusione al check-in (ci hanno assegnata camera ancora non pronta e subito rassegnata un'altra). Le camere sono comode ma ad esempio non funziona telecomando, chiedo di verificare e cambiare batterie, senza successo. La colazione si fa al bar annesso ed è senza servizio, si prende il proprio caffè e cornetto e ci si siede ai tavoli. Con piccoli accorgimenti, c'è ampio spazio di miglioramento.

    Esperienza positiva, hotel in posizione strategica a 1 km dalla spiaggia e dal centro. Camere grandi,pulizia soddisfacente. Unico neo assenza di bidet nel bagno x favorire però l'uso della struttura da parte dei disabili. Parcheggio libero e gratuito in strada. Personale cortese e disponibile

    Ho prenotato una stanza in questo hotel per una notte con mia moglie. Ottima posizione, prezzo e stile. Tuttavia nella stanza che ci e' stata data abbiamo notato la presenza di insetti, in particolare sul pavimento. A parte questo niente da dire. Il personale è stato cortese e la colazione ottima.
