An experience indeed
A pleasant surprise of a haven of peace and quiet away from the total mayhem of the Discovery Centre below. Comfortable, clean, quiet rooms - and that absolutely stunning view..

Nice loft rooms
Great location at the glaciers and convenient for hiking and driving in both Jasper and Banff. Not surprisingly, it is expensive, but the room was very nice with a loft, so perfect for families. No refrigerator or microwave in the room was a real downside as were the very, very soft mattresses. After 3 hours the beds still held the impression of the body that slept in it. Thank goodness we only stayed one night.

Only one restaurant on lvl2 with limited a la carte option. Buffet was average and very pricy for adult @$46per n child was &$33 n not too many hot items. Guest that is the price for tourists n in forest area.

This hotel is at an amazing location facing the Athabasca Glacier. We stayed one night so we could do the Ice Explorer tour. Unfortunately we were giving a room at the back and when we asks for a room with a view of the Glacier were charged an extra $20+ tax- poor! The bistro closes at 6.00pm. If you want a drink or a meal you have only the Altitude Resraurant, although nice, is expensive and limited in choice and you could not bill to your room. Parking is 200m from the hotel and you have to carry your bags from there as you cannot drive up to and drop off your bag near the hotel entrance- also poor!!
