The staff works very hard to give you a great experience. Gerry at the pool is a great entertainer and all the staff is exceptional. The resort itself is not large and the pools are nice. The facility does smell due to the river in the location and the food is bland. I would not stay there again and choose a different location.
no activities place smeal like shuewer beach close very dirty plastic thrash
There is no beach area it is all rock. The waves coming are black. The river running through the property smells like raw sewage.
No beach area. Waves are black and beach area smells. Carpet in the hallways. The hotel smelled of sewer. If you are looking for a beach stay in Mexico do not book this hotel. Very disappointed. We checked in explored the beach and immediately checked out. Now we are fighting to get a refund.
We were disappointed with our one night stay. First off the beach was black, no way we we’re swimming in that. The kayaks and bikes weren’t available. The resort needs to disclose that if the the weather doesn’t permit those excursions will it be available. Our tv kept glitching and the hotel is a little outdated.
Good was good. Bed was comfortable. Service was poor. Pool needed to be cleaned and renovated. Lagoon smells. Couldn’t kayak or bike because there was no room, yet people that got there after us got a reservation. Not impressed. Wouldn’t stay here again.
Excelente hotel 👌 do not skip this happiness in your life.
Lobby was decent..to many other probkems to list..i checked out after day 1 of a 4 night trip..cheap tickets has done nothing to help me get a refund!
its seems old property, not as big as other hotels in playa del carmen. Good pools but no beach to swim cause of hurricane i guess and really bad smell. Little variety of food and its the same food every day, doesnt taste good either. Drinks are horrible, really watery. Room are comfortable and clean BUT you can hear everything like literary everything. Staff is working hard thats probably the only plus of this hotel, everything else is Really disappointing. We been in playa del carmen before and this is the worst experience we had.
This hotel was great. Nice grounds and attentive staff, especially Victor who worked at the restaurant and Diego who did the cenote river tour. Not the hotel’s fault- but if you go into town, beware of vendors who lie about working at the hotel just because they can identify your hotel bracelet
