Ravel Hotel Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Had a great time at my stay in The Ravel. Got the Deluxe King room, very spacious and loved the rustic/ wooden furniture. Room came with a balcony which was a plus. Also amazing views of the Ed koch bridge and city. Right by the east river. Amazing location would come and stay again.

The experience was really nice other then the room being a little cold it was great

The room was clean and simple. It would of been nice to have more than just a wooden chair to sit in

My first time staying at the hotel, decided to try after seeing the good reviews, but actually it was like a place for drugs and related visitors. A few blacks partying in the middle night, so loud. Only one sheet over the mattress cover, no carpet and dirty floor. Spacious room but overall not happy, won't go back

Overall the experience/comfort was good. However, the room I got wasn’t what I was expecting. I did get the balcony but the view wasnt of the bridge/river I wanted.

It was an ok stay. I've stayed here quite a few times in the past 8 months but I've always booked a room with a balcony. This time I went with the regular queen bed room because the price was more in my budget. The room was not the cleanest and the shower was very dated. The bathroom also needed to be cleaned better as there was visable spots of dirt and prints throughtout. I even felt uncomfortable going into the shower barefoot as the floor looked and felt dirty. The shower head was falling off the wall and could not be adjusted making it a bit hard to shower as I had to stand in a specific spot to get water on me. Service was great and always has been. I'd recommend the rooms with a balcony in the other tower. Parking was much better this time, assuming because the club was closed. It was horrible my past stays. I think hotel guests should get preference but it clearly wasnt the case my past stays.

Great location, larger room, and very clean. Hope to have an extra blanket so that I don't have to turn the room temperature so high.

I have stayed at this hotel before and never had any issues. They are usually great about upgrading your room when they are not fully booked. This time was a completely different experience. An event was going on the Sunday I checked in. The music was pumping through the hotel. You couldn’t get away from it. I was told the event would be over at 10pm. It was but I was there for work and the music stopping at 10pm did not help much. Especially when you could still hear people screaming and yelling outside of your room. Then Monday night. My neighbors started partying. They turned up the music and were screaming and carrying on over the music. I couldn’t believe it. Two days in a row, on a Sunday and Monday and in the midst of a pandemic where people are supposed to be socially distancing. The front desk was prompt with responding and I appreciated their handling of the situation. However, none of that should have been going on. I know now why the room was discounted. I don’t ever plan to take this chance again with this hotel if I am back for work. I would rather pay more money to have some peace. One more thing. The hotel also wasn’t as clean as it could have been. All I could smell coming through the vents when I turned the heat on was men’s cologne. It made me paranoid thinking that air was being circulated through the hotel when we are in the midst of a pandemic. I’m so disappointed this hotel has gone down hill.

The Room had a balcony and I must say the view was amazing! Overall clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Really enjoyed the spacious bathroom. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. I will be visiting again!
