One night in Boston
The service at the hotel was exceptional, the welcome and check in service was very positive. Within the hotel the choice of bars and food was perfect. The rooms were very large, had an amazing view, they were clean and the bed was genuinely one of the best hotel beds we have ever slept in. We have stayed in many hotels in boston and this is one of the best. We will be back sometime!

Disappointed
I came to the hotel for a few days of relaxation after a busy week in the office. I live in the area. The air conditioner in my room did not work. I was moved to a new room and given an upgrade for one of the two nights I stayed. The air conditioning in the second room also did not work. Maintenance was sent to repair it. After two hours, he repaired the air-conditioning. The toilet would not flush. I called three times for the repairs. I had to leave and go to a restaurant to use the restroom. By 5 PM the toilet was fixed. However, my key stopped working and I had to go to the front desk and get new keys. This was my second time for keys on the same day. I ordered French toast. It came in a dish soggy, wet, and standing in water. I returned the food and did not have breakfast. A manager called and said I would be refunded for the food. However, it wasn’t until I checked the bill three times that the food (I did not eat ) was taken off of the bill. There was no top sheet on the bed. I asked for a second sheet in for the bed to be remade. I was given a second sheet and to make the bed myself. I came to the hotel to get away from the normal noise of my life. The phone in the hotel room rain more from the staff than ever in my office. Hotel staff were in and out of the room fixing the room constantly. I am going home and back to the office without a day of rest and very disappointed.

Great location
Friendly, easy check in, only disappointment was the breakfast. The food just wasn’t good, the bread basket was just cold and not fresh, the potatoes on the omelet were hard and cold, the baked vanilla French toast was raw, etc....the room was nice! Comfortable beds

Bad service.
Quick over night stay. Beds were very soft. Pillows too soft. Asked concierge for a nice Italian Restaurant. Restaurant loud and food basic. Was a cool evening so took a cab. The driver dropped us off in a completely different direction, paid him, and he pointed to where restaurant was. NOT anywhere close to that. we had to use waze to walk to restaurant 10 minutes away in heels. We told hotel about cabbie. $600 a night not impressed.

My girlfriend and I came to Boston for the Boston Marathon and choosing the InterContinental was a fantastic decision. The hotel was A++ and they even printed out a plaque in honor of my marathon finish. Would definitely stay again.
