Excellent value
Overnight stay on route to final destination. Fantastic value, highlighted by what we are paying in our current accommodation. Very comfortable, clean room. Duty manager checked us in late and he was friendly and welcoming. Very good breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Only negative was noise from road - but only because we are not used to it (live in the sticks!). Thank you 👍

Nice rooms. Bathrooms need a good clean
Overall i like holiday inn express and always have but i had 2 rooms in this hotel as the bathrooms were dirty. I looked with my black light and the toilet areas were clean on the surface but far from clean overall. There were also dirty marks on the tiles and spoiled the whole feel of the stay. There is no excuse for that. Clean those bathrooms properly

No regard to Covid19 safety
Disappointing that with the current pandemic, the hotel has little regard for the safety and wellbeing of residents. No wearing of PPE, little adherence to government standards. Having had to que for breakfast with all other residents....clearly the hotel feels they do not have to comply with such standards as "table service".... Really frustrating and will prevent me from returning to this hotel anytime soon.

It was good
The stay was very great I did enjoy it however, It could of been a lot better if room service was improved for example instead of walking down to reception to get items they could of brought item to my door nevertheless it was a cosy and comfortable stay.

The property was nice and close to the Hospital, where I was doing four Nights shifts. Though I asked for a room away from the road (so that I could sleep during the day) and booked a double room, I was given a twin room that was facing the road. I was too tired to change this, but thought this was pretty poor, as would have much rather have had a double bed to sleep in between my shifts! Otherwise, the room was clean and everything within it worked.
