I’ve stayed here twice now. Very clean. Very courteous staff. Took a bit of time to check in even on my prepaid stay. The shower looked like it needed some attention. Shelf coming out of the wall.

4 stars, only because we stayed in private spa room, which makes it pretty special. If this were a “regular” room, I think it would only earn 3 stars. It is dated, but clean nonetheless. A few things that don’t make sense. No morning lobby coffee service (and no place nearby to walk to), but they do have in-room coffeemakers–a 12-cup Mr. Coffee for a 1-serving coffee packet. A 7-cup hot water kettle, but teabags aren’t provided. No plug nearby for either. We were using the desk plug for charging, so only alternative is on the floor. Timer on the spa didn’t work. That area needs a small plastic table. Kind of icky to place your drink on the ground when you think of people’s feet being there first. Toilet flushed only after holding handle. Room is spacious, but futon is awful–lumpy everywhere and if you recline, a bar hits your bottom/lower back. Only 1 chair in room. On the plus side, bed and pillows were comfy; fridge, freezer and microwave are provided; a/c was fine and not noisy. Staff for the most part seemed friendly. My biggest peeve is they don’t clean room during your stay. Would have been nice to know that before we piled up our wet towels in the morning, to arrive back in the evening to find them exactly as we left them. ASK for your room to be cleaned. Made an appointment at the spa, which is actually just a guest room converted to a spa. It is nice, but please tell me why I need to be in the lobby 30 minutes before my appointment and just sit in the lobby.

Wrong Choice for Desert Hot Springs
This was 1 stop of 11 day vacation trip with my adult son. I very carefully researched all lodgings that I booked. I agonized for days searching sites, reviews & pics. I chose Aqua Soliel for 1 night in DHS. It had good reviews, hot tubs, a pool fed by the springs, & rooms looked updated. We arrived after a long day at around 8pm. I knew the pool closed at 10p (i seriously considered other hotels w/ 24 hr pool access) but I thought 2 hrs in the hot tub would be fine. We were greeted, very coldly, by 2 females at the front desk, 1 wearing a bullet proof vest. There was a sign stating that none of the hot tubs were in service. I was more than a little distraught about this. My knee was hurting from an injury & over use. It had been my hope to soak it in the hot tub then get a massage on site next morning. I was then informed of the 200 dollar deposit, I handed her my Chime card that I use for EVERYTHING and the woman in the vest yells out that "We dont take no prepaid cards" I knew it would be fine but i took it back and gave her my CC. There was a sign about using their "Sister Hotel's" hot tub on a daypass or possibly switching hotels if you told them early enough. We were given our room keys for the 3rd floor and told not to use the elevator, also out of service. It took so long to get our things up stairs we only got 35 mins in the dirty pool til it closed. They were rude, no notice on their site of closed hot tubs, elevators, ac limit 70 . I made the wrong choice
