Brilliant Breakfast, otherwise disappointing
What really makes this a great hotel is the breakfast which is served in the roof top restaurant. Stunning views, excellent food options and the excellent service of Orlando and his team make the perfect start to each day of your stay. But aside from this most aspects of the hotel are disappointing. Like many others have noted in reviews, there was no sparkling wine amenity during the stay or any other VIP benefits. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable and the hotel lacks basic elements of a 4 star hotel, such as glassware, bottle opener, tissues, complimentary bottled water. Room also had some minor maintenance issues, mould in bathroom (see photo) and lamp not working which shows a lack of attention to detail.

Hotel was lovely but the location is very difficult for driving and a bit far down from the main restaurant/bar area. They do have an onsite garage, which was a nice change from most of the hotels we have encountered.

The employees, from the front desk staff, breakfast buffet waiter, housekeeper, and porter were all exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. There were a few issues that would make me think again about booking this hotel. First, there was no heat in my room. When I asked about it, I was told the hotel would not turn on the heat until December 1. My request for an extra blanket and robe and were quickly answered. The floor had no carpeting, so the floor was ice cold. The bathroom was very small and the shower stall 2 x 2 foot square and I could barely wash myself without bumping my elbows. Other than these issues I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, the location to both town centre and the beach was excellent.
