Room was located far away from reception, up and down stairs. When I got to my room the door entry card wasn’t working so I had to trek all the way back to reception. Receptionists didn’t say a word. Room was sweltering hot with no air con.

We had a lovely stay at the Beaumont hotel. Room was clean. My only tiny moan would be that we booked a room for 4 people and they only made the room for 2 people. We had to chase to get more towels and to have the other bed made up. However they came very quickly when I called. This hotel is stunning. The staff are very polite and helpful. The pool was very clean and they have a lovely outdoor area for the children to play.

No black out blinds, or air con so warm room & disturbed sleep, alarm clock not reset by housekeeping so when asleep woken at 6am. Moved closer to facilities as travelling alone (offered, not requested) was nice touch but failed to explain would be down graded in order to do so when paid for double occupancy & breakfasts was disappointing & room therefore disappointing. No security on car park exit or barrier code required.

Disappointing stay, room and service poor.
Room was very small, supposedly a twin but set up as a single, one chair, one set of towels etc. The "academy twin" was not like the picture in the hotels' own advertising. The room was so small that the wardrobe would not open wide enough for access unless the bedside table was removed (see photo)and two people could not move around comfortably. I was twice given incorrect information about the restaurants by reception; once during a phone call a couple of days before arrival and once actually on the day. We were told that only the Beaumont Restaurant was open and in fact the 1705 restaurant was open and was the restaurant we would have used. When we arrived at 11.30am there was no coffee available in the 1705 bar because "the milk had not warmed up"! Service was slow and impersonal. Very disappointed with the room and the service.
