Nice hotel with a very servis minded staff the the room was very clean.
Lots of good reviews for this hotel--and they are fair. It is in a good location. But I think it is over-priced. Reykjavik is small enough that anywhere in the city center is in a good location. You can walk across the city center in 10-15 minutes. So, unless the actual location is critical to you, I'd suggest looking elsewhere before deciding on this place. It is nice--but not exceptional enough to warrant its cost.
Extremely friendly people and amazing sites to see.
Stay got moved to the Miðgarður. The staff could not have been nicer. Food and room were awesome. Pauline.
Very nice three night stay at the beginning of a longer trip around Iceland. Centrally located and easy to walk to shopping and restaurants, the rooms are on the small side (normal European standards though), but the amenities are nice with breakfast and a spa area. The front desk staff are fantastic and very helpful. They went above and beyond to help us with a few questions and things we needed to sort out.
Cheap Tickets is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. There are so many things, I can't even list them, but just one of them is, my trip has been cancelled for 3 months and I'm still getting emails regarding how was my trip.
The hotel is really nice. The water view is excellent, although gets a bit noise in the morning as there is a busy road in between the hotel and waterfront. As an expedia gold member, they allowed me early checkin at the hotel as my flight landed ahead of schedule at 4am. The hotel is clean and staff is very friendly. Also lactose free milk options available. Definitely a place I would choose to stay at again.
Very good quality hotel in an ideal location close to the main area of Reykjavík but also with a great view over the sea. Bus stop no. 5 is also just a short walk across the seat and is where all buses can pick up/drop off for transfers and tours etc.
Central to the sights, nice staff, good room, would stay again
Great place to stay but needs better/ more parking.
