We stayed in the annexe, across the road from the Palazzo. Our suite had 2 bedrooms, bathroom, lounge/dining area and kitchenette. The central heating was efficient and hotel provided a kettle and mugs when we requested these. A quiet location, near the station and walking distance from key locations
It was a nice hotel in a good location. The rooms were nice and clean with comfortable beds. The staff was great. There was also a nice breakfast. However our room was very small even with a queen-sized bed. With all the furniture there was no room to move or open a suitcase.
Wonderful staff and most convenient to the sites of Ravenna. Provided parking pass so car was parked on the street a block from hotel - caused no major problems. Property was very quiet and staff very extremely helpful with directions and facts about the city. Thanks
The staff was very nice about our reservation which was cancelled due to a scam.
Very clean and nice, the staff was perfect. The rooms from the other end are tiny
Excellent breakfast buffet and quiet room facing the back of the hotel (courtyard).
The welcoming staff were wonderful. Helped us find the best meal we have had in all of Italy. The location is in an easy fifteen minute walk to six of the Ravenna mosaics sites and Dante's tomb. If arriving by train, its five minute walk from the station. Central to everything. Lovely room. Breakfast included a great selection of the freshest fruits along with other standards.
As this hotel has a long history of service in Ravenna, I guess it must have some redeeming qualities. But I couldn’t find any. It’s only attribute to me was it’s location, just a few minutes walk from the stazione and the historic center. I booked an upgraded room, and was stuck in the “last room on the left,” which was akin to a World War I hospital room. It reeked of Clorox, was barely clean, the headboard of the bed would have been more comfortable than the mattress, drawer pulls were missing from the limited drawer and closet space, the safe did not work, the key to the room only worked half of the time (had to chase down staff for entry). Again, one would assume that there are comfortable rooms with decent amenities, but mine was not one. Be careful what you book here! The room I was in should not be offered to anyone at any price!
People willing to help always make your day. Far more better than people you helped push you down to the cliff, China I mean. We Taiwan provided their technology and economy, some Chinese eat, live in Taiwan and don’t do anything except help their own Chinese.
Our ‘fragrance free’ room stank of chemical fragrances. Smelt like toilet disinfectant throughout. Rooms were large but poorly equipped.
