8/10 Very good

Hotel Posada Santa Fe
Very old ( around 150 years old) hotel . Very good location, but with some problems like had to wait for a long time until hot water start coming and no elevators for the luggage. Staff was friendly and tried to help, but unfortunately with very limited knowledge of English.

10/10 Exceptional

Beautiful and Nice.
We stayed in a king room and the bed was clean and bed was comfy. Our view was to street and was nice. It's in a nice part of the area and lot's of shopping and site seeing very close. The parking is very small and limited. Room was very spacious. It's a mid century style hotel with beautiful decor. Very small elevator for one person. Hot water does take time. Staff friendly and helpful. We had a 3 night reservation but stayed 5 days. Since it's in a busy part of town you can hear nightly noise/music but once it ends you get good rest.

Kissing the wall
The hotel was ok the only problem I have is that the room I was given room #8 the bathroom was so small that I was practically kissing the wall when I used the toilet, no room to move around and no way to get dressed after you get out of the shower

6/10 Good

The property was nice but the water pressure wasn’t great. The towels could use some fabric softener. There was a couple of bugs that look like baby roaches. Load noise from the vacuum cleaner at 4am.

4/10 Fair

Not Good
It was terrible. The noise level in Room 16 was horrible. The kitchen staff works right under the window, the church bells ring right outside the window and the mariachi and people in square noise is on till 2 AM. Church bells start at 4AM. So basically you can get about 2 hours of sleep. Beds and pillows are horrible. We are easy travellers mostly backpack and use hotels just for nights. We thought this was a 4 star but this should be rated as a 3 star to better explain the services. It can be a beautiful hotel if they put some effort into it. It is I believe been in existance for about a 100 years. If they can have better beds and a little bit sound proof windows, it could be a good place to get a night stay.

The bedding and beds were not so comfortable. I expected nicer linens for the price. Location was great for activities but noisy at night. A lot of street activities until early morning.
