Hotel Monterey La Soeur Ginza
Stuffy room, windows dont open, no A/C, lumpy bed
The room was the stuffiest room I've ever stayed in anywhere in the world. The windows do not open for "safety" reasons, I mean i get it can be dangerous but at least let me open it a LITTLE bit for some fresh air??? The A/C unit does not work because it was still April and central heating system was on. The room was hot as is already (hot days in Tokyo) and have absolutely NO FRESH air coming into the room was the worst, on top of the typical Tokyo sized hotel room (hint: tiny but thats not the point here). The bed was very lumpy as well, ugh what a miserable night, we couldn't sleep after lying in bed for 4 hours from the hot stuffy air and terrible bed. I wish I had known these before booking then I never would have booked here, even though it was just one night.

Nice hotel in Tokyo
Nice hotel 10/15 minutes from Tokyo station and near other subways. Staff is really friendly. Breakfasts are nice, either at this hotel, or nearby sister's hotel where you can have more american choice. really clean hotel

Good location but tiny room and can hear noise from upper floor. The toilet sink had stains. Check-in slow. Stayed in 506.

Disappointing, very basic. Pretends to be better t
Smart exterior and entrance area but then goes downhill. Great reception service as one expects in Japan. Room was tiny and it was difficult to move around with the suitcases on the floor. Tiny cubicle bathroom. Bed very hard. Location not as good as expected, a bit further from the main railway station than anticipated. No breakfast available. Food court area available one street away on way to/from station.
