Bait and switch
Looks cool on the outside. Great view from patio. Wonderful restaurant service. The room smelled like the chemical storeroom at my high school. Staff wouldn't let us switch rooms.

Think Hotels.com overcharged us by $90.00
The room was very outdated, and dingy. Booked through Hotels.com for $269.00 and when got there found out that that outdated room was only $179.00 if booked through the hotel. The $269.00 room was an updated room, but we did not get that.

Great staff, but no AC!
We had booked the hotel months in advance, and failed to notice there was no AC! The hotel was beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable, but I wouldn’t have booked in the middle of summer had I known. That’s my bad though, I should have noticed. Otherwise our stay was lovely!

Good hotel, bad customer service
The hotel is nice for an Historic site. The man and the front desk (Patrick) at check-in was very rude. Then after we got to the room he called and tried to intimate us. He wanted us to leave from his tone. He then tried to offer us a smaller that looked like a closet with a queen bed jamed in. Other than that the stay was amazing, the sites and the food at the restaurant. We lpved those parts
