    So impressed with this place, it was awesome!! Huge value for the price we paid. The staff were friendly and informative. The rooms and hotel/pool were all very clean. We had hot water the whole time. Location is great if you have a car to drive to the main centre of la fortuna, but there was a strip of restaurants and tour guides close to the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, eggs cooked to order with rotating buffet options. They welcome you with a fun tropical beverage and have happy hour that runs 5-7 which is an added bonus. Wi-Fi was strong and was available in every location of the hotel. I would recommend if you’re booking tours or doing laundry go outside of the hotel as they were a tad expensive. Would highly recommend this place...we WILL be back :)

    Pool and swim up bar were great! Hot tub was nice! And the amenities were tucked away from the road so it felt nice & quiet. It was only a $2 uber to "downtown" La Fortuna so no problem getting around.

    You can tell a lot about a hotel by its toilet paper. In this case you can tell they are cheap. Extra thin with that awful metal cutting device that wants to give you as few pieces as possible. The hotel itself is pretty, though the food is pretty bad. And oriented to the busses rather than the other guests.

    A bunch of thieves

    I wasn't able to stay at the hotel due to some unforeseen problems leaving the USA. I contacted the hotel ahead of time to issue a refund. They refused continue to refuse to issue the refund. This hotel customer service is the worst. Also, none of the staff speaks English. I do not recommend dealing with this place.

    Nice and clean. Great location for most activities. Had to put room key into thermostat to use AC so bring an old plastic gift card to put in (also works) if you dont want ro return to a warm room each day.

    A nice stay but issues with hot watee

    Our room was clean and spacious and the view was phenomenal. Breakfast was delicious and the front desk was more than willing to assist us with activities and planning. The restaurant and bar both meet One of the hot tubs was broken and the other was not hot. The biggest negative was that in two nights there we did not have hot water and were forced to take cold showers. WiFi was spotty in the room but worked okay in the lobby.

    Really disappointed!

    I generally dont write any reviews unless its really bad. I would give this hotel a 2 star rating only! 1 star for the staff and 1 star for complimentary breakfast. It looked like a fancy hotel with a lot of rooms but no infrastructure to support it! After paying a freaking $270 for a night, one would expect atleast basic things to work! There was no hot water for an entire day (after being outside in the crazy rain, it was very disappointing), no wifi in the rooms (the only place it worked was the lobby?!), there were 2 towels in the room for a family of four of which one towel was torn and the elevator worked intermittently. Wish I had taken a picture of the torn towel... disgusting. Our experience with a 3 star B&B was much better than this. Very disappointed with this hotel.

    I loved my time in Costa Rica, highly recommend it to everyone. Overall it's a solid hotel, wifi is available near the pool but not in rooms, the concierge was rude, the hot water worked 2 of 7 days.
