About Hotel Monterey Akasaka

Tokyo hotel with free WiFi, near the Imperial Palace

In the Akasaka district

Hotel Monterey Akasaka places you in Tokyo's upscale Akasaka neighborhood, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and embassies. You'll be a 20-minute walk from Togū Palace and 25 minutes on foot from the lovely gardens and waterways of the Imperial Palace.

Art museum, city views

A 20-minute walk away, Tokyo Midtown is a dazzling modern complex housing high-end stores, restaurants, and museums including the Suntory Museum of Art. For sweeping city views, there are observation decks at Roppongi Hills, and Tokyo Tower, both about a 10-minute drive.

Breakfast, French cuisine

The hotel - which takes its design inspiration from a Victorian London townhouse - serves a breakfast buffet, and its restaurant, Escale, offers French cuisine for lunch. For special occasions, there are 2 banquet rooms and even an on-site wedding chapel.

Free WiFi, flat-screen TV

The 196 air-conditioned guestrooms feature English-inspired decor and rich colors. You can plan your next day of sightseeing using free WiFi, and after a busy day you can store takeout in the mini-fridge and relax with a hot drink while watching shows on the LCD TV.

Stayed a few nights before heading back home. Bit of a walk to get to from the nearest metro station. Park close by and plenty of restaurants closer to the metro station.
