Good hotel
Stayed a few nights before heading back home. Bit of a walk to get to from the nearest metro station. Park close by and plenty of restaurants closer to the metro station.

Akasaka Mitsuke area hotel stay
The wifi was good, and I really took advantage of the free Handy cell phone with free calls and free data throughout my stay! The small room was very comfortable, although the pillows were a bit on the hard side. The area is nice and quiet with the busy hub full of restaurants cafes and bars a short 5-minute walk away. The view from my superior room was great, as I could see the towers of Shinjuku and towards Akasaka area as well. Walking with suitcases from Akasaka-Mitsuke is a trek uphill, but walking back down is doable. A taxi is a good alternative. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast but liked that there were good cafes nearby for good coffee and breakfast, as well as more restaurants within a 5-15* minute walk (*Dennys haha) I would consider staying here again, especially since the price was right compared with other hotels in the area. And the look and vintage feel of this hotel is appealing, especially because of the quietness and cleanliness of the room and hotel. ps For 2 people the room would be a bit cramped but that's Tokyo unless you pay a schwack more.

Great location for a reasonable price in Tokyo
This was a nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood a bit away from the frenzy of central Tokyo. Our room was rather large by Japan standards and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent--with plenty of choices from Asian and western breakfast items. I liked the fact that the hotel was convenient to the subway (about a 5 minute walk) and plenty of restaurants but in a nice quiet area. The staff spoke English and were helpful in every way--even letting us stow our suitcases when we went to Kyoto for a few days. This was a great choice for our stay in Tokyo and I'll stay there again when I return.

Brilliant! Great location for metro!
Very friendly and polite staff. So helpful and made us feel welcome. A 5 minute walk from Akusaka Mitsuke metro station which was amazing for getting around the city. Room was great and brilliant facilities. You can buy metro passes directly from the hotel and the free smartphone was fantastic to navigate the city. Thank you! ARIGATO GOZAIMASU!
