Property is old, worn and poorly maintained. Location is much too close to a noisy interstate route.
It was my Birthday Vacation! And I had a wonderful stay. I was disappointed there was no coffee in the lobby..I can accept no breakfast bar.. but COFFEE! Yes there was a tiny pot in my room.. I like my coffee. The Day and Night staff very professional great customer service. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
Had a nice stay, Rooms were clean and very comfortable. I work at a 3 star Hotel downtown, This place is better.
Rooms were newly remodeled. Very nice but walls and doors very thin. Could hear the neighbors snoring and the traffic noise from the street and interstate.
Our city has been out of power due to a storm and the staff at red roof has been amazing. Even though we are here due to the emergency storm damages we have stayed here several times over the years because of the hospitality.
Didn’t actually stay here. I pulled into the driveway, parking lot was mostly full and there were just multiple groups of sketchy looking men standing outside their cars watching me and my daughter. Went inside and the line was 8 people deep, a man stumbled in, clearly drunk with a paper bag in his hand and got in line behind us. At that point I made the decision I wasn’t going to stay there. Got back to my car and still being watched by all the men. Went around to the back of the building and there were even more groups of men. The vibe wasn’t right and my gut instinct said nope.
It was just ok for the short amount of time we were there to attend a family gathering, and the price was decent. A few towels we’re definitely worn or too dirty to even use. They should have never made it back to any of the hotel rooms for reuse...
I informed the staff that I found a bug which appeared to be a small cockroach in my bed and they put me in another room to sleep and told me I could keep my things in that room because I had been working all night and it’d be easier than moving everything that night. I am woken up to a phone call by the general manager whos upset with me accusing me of making this all up so I could get a refund for my stay and having zero compassion or apology for the bugs and would not even look at the video or picture I took proving there were bugs. He also said I needed to be charged for another room Because I was taking up two rooms which is insane because his staff gave me the second room and they gave it to me because the first room has bugs in it ! He was also extremely disrespectful telling me that he doesn’t need “my kind “ in that hotel and he would be calling the cops and I needed to get out of the hotel immediately without a refund and before my stay was innitially over . He also said that it seemed odd that I was bringing this up when my stay was almost complete , accusing me of lying and making all of this up and wouldn’t even look at the picture and videos I had of the bugs . I packed my things as fast as I could only to ge greeted by the police which was totally unnecessary. When I arrived at my next hotel they informed me that guests in the past have left red roof at that location for the same reason. Do not stay here and give this horrible excuse for a person business
Every thing was great except the floor(hardwood tile, I think) ever time I walk on floor with ur shoes n socks off ur feet are black from the dirty floor
We chose this hotel as a stop off on a long road trip with our dog, as pets stay free. It wasn’t in the greatest area, but let’s face it, you’re not staying there for the romantic walks! Granted the steak house next door is half burned down, but that’s just one of those things. The room was clean and the price was right - what more could you ask for.
